JEWELRY CLASSES BY YARROW MEAD

CLASS OVERVIEW

This weekend class is being given over two days, four and a half hours each day, for a total of nine hours. The goal of creating a weekend class with limited hours and one completed project at the end is to allow for the possibility to jump start your craft tourism opportunities.

The project offered here is to make a simple bezel set pendant in silver. The skills utilized will be the basics of hand fabrication, soldering, and bezel stone setting. This class offers students the option to choose their own cabochon, as well as create unique textures on their pendant backs each student will end the class with a one of a kind finished project and an understanding of some of the basics of hand fabricating with metal.

Required Materials:
Cabochon (Student provides their own. Must be larger than 10mm and smaller than 40mm, no hard corners, no concave shapes, flat backed)
Optional Provided Cabochon (purchased from instructor) $20-$40
